Using RPMs
Try to use the RPMs when possible. The RPMs you need are in order: libdvdcss, libdvdread, ogle, and (optionally) ogle_gui.When upgrading you might need to specify all of them at the same time.
You need libxml2, but hopefully you already have it.
You don't need liba52, libmad or any devel version unless you want to rebuild the SRPMs. The RPMs have been reported to work on Red Hat 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and 8.0; Mandrake 7.1, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, and 9.0; and SuSE 7.2, 7.3, 8.0, and 8.1. They should work on any system with recent enough packages.
